_About_Cover_Story_Exhibition

During the spring of 2009 a workshop took place at Lillholmskolan in Skarholmen/Varberg. 350 students, from preschool class to grade 9 were assigned to browse and read a wide selection of Swedish magazines. Each student chosed a magazine to work with, imagined, written, acted in front of the camera and scanned background images. With some help of professional graphic designers from Konstfack they were finally able to layout all the components to create their own very great cover.
These covers could be seen in the exhibition, Cover Story, shown in "Gallerian" at Hamngatan in Stockholm, between February 1-7 2010.
The exhibition included a digital workshop, where visitors under the guidance of children and teachers from Lillholmskolan could be photographed and create their own magazine covers

Art directing and Exhibition design made in collaboration with fellow designers Bo Pilo and Felix Ahlberg Eriksson
