Redemption

_About_Redemption

Redemption is a distillation of ideas gathered about Richard Wagner and the perfect Gesamtkunstwerk or complete artwork. The aim is to create a space for the sublime and a state of experiencing transcendence both within and beyond ourselves. A modern rite for the modern man that connects the present with the primordial forces of the past. The work is also about alchemical transfiguration. A work that takes you deeper, darker and beyond

The quiet sound you might hear in the background (if you turn up the volum high enough) are the very same piece played inside "Redemtion" at the exhibition. The piece are about 45 min long and contain multiple samples of "Leitmotifs" from Richard Wagner´s "Ring Cycle"

_Miniature_Model

In this view the model is shown without roof and dome. The construction consist of an outer room from where you enter and the much higher tower room. You reach the tower room by traveling the narrow spiral shaped "labyrinth" in total darkness. The "labyrinth" elevates as you reach the two platforms at the end
